Today I had to think really carefully about "seem" was a linking verb or not, but then I replaced the predicate with a conjugated from of "to be" and the sentence still made sense and the potential subject complement indeed complemented the subject.

In this time, I got 80%. I forgot to write "sc". I was doubting if both "to be's" were a subject, but because "but" is a conjunction. I was also doubting if "not" was an adjective or an adverb.
