My name is Yuri. I'm G10 in HIS. I am one fourth Japanese, one fourth Taiwanese and half Korean. And I'm 3rd generation of overseas chinese. But, I can’t speak Chinese and Korean. I’m studying Chinese now. I have one younger brother and one younger sister. Kenyu and Maria. They are 11 and 9 years old. Thery were honest and cute. But there are twisted now...

I was born in Tokyo. When I was 6 years old, I moved to Kanagawa Prefecture. And I lived in there about 9 years. But my family has moved to Hokkaido for a my father’s work. And also, I hear that it is because my father, who was born in Tohoku, wanted to raise children in a snowy region:(

My favorite things are swimming, working with my macintosh and watching movies. When I lived in Kanagawa Prefecture, the ocean is only a little way from my house, so everyday I had gone swimming in the summer. And every summer, I have done 4-km long-distance swimming. Therefore, Swimming is most favorite sport.

When I came to Hokkaido and HIS, I started rock-climbing and outdoor activities. First time, I hate outdoor activities, and I hate mountain climbing. But I according to the curriculum that HIS offer last year, taking requirement units made me not taking other classes beside outdoor class... My first outdoor trip was Mt. Youtei trip. It was very hard and I always had to fight with cold and fatigue. However, the sense of achievement when reaching the peak and the relief upon returning were wonderful experiences that can't be obtained in daily life.　I was especially moved by the starry night sky and the rising sun as seen from the summit. Mountain and rock climbing are extremely hard, but views never seen before await me when the goal is reached. That's what made climbing the mountain so enjoyable. Now, I like climbing. Also fortunately, Outdoor class became my favorite class.
